This double-story beach house has 6 bedrooms and can sleep, 16 people. 

Struck by the ocean setting and vegetation surrounding this stunning holiday home creates a unifying design language and a bright, light, open interior.

Sleeping Arrangements

Sleeps 16 people comfortably.

Bedroom 1 – King size bed, en-suite bathrooms with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin.
Bedroom 2 – King size bed, en-suite bathrooms with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin.
Bedroom 3 – King size bed, en-suite bathrooms with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin.
Bedroom 4 – King size bed, en-suite bathrooms with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin.
The bedrooms have large sea-facing folding glass doors that open up, you can sleep with these doors open at night and enjoy the gentle sea-breeze.

Downstairs, and in a separate building to the main house are 2 bunk rooms, each has its own bathroom.
Bunk room 1 – 2 sets of bunk beds and sleep, 4 people. With a Bathtub.
Bunk room 2 – 2 sets of bunk beds and sleep, 4 people. With a Shower.
These rooms are inter-leading rooms.

All bedrooms have a coffee station.

There are ceiling fans throughout the house.

Downstairs in the main house is the open plan kitchen and living area.
There are no sea views from the bottom level of the house due to the thick coastal forest.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes:
-4 gas hob stove
-electric oven
-ice machine
-2 large fridges
-coffee machine

There is a separate scullery with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
In the storeroom, you will find 1 chest freezer.

There is a wine fridge and outside you can find a gas and a charcoal braai.

There are 2 flat-screen TVs with DSTV in the 2 lounges and it is activated so there is no need for you to take a smart card with it.

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 or 2×4 with a diff lock vehicle is essential for access to the area and to the Estate, otherwise secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post and a border transfer can be arranged at extra cost.

Staff Tip –

There is a compulsory staff tip of R100 per staff member per day. If you are more than 10 people then a second housekeeper will be brought in, she must also be paid R100 per day. This includes your day of arrival and departure.

Other Things To Note –

Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case.
Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes.
Mozambique sim cards and data can also be purchased in the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices.
The Estate uses borehole water which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the village and it is advisable to bring bottled drinking water.

Please note we make use of a septic system, don’t flush other products down the toilets besides toilet paper.
Guests must bring their own consumables e.g. (food and liquids, sunlight liquid, washing detergents for clothes, mosquito repellent, 1 x ply toilet paper, etc)

Keys to the unit can be collected from the Reception office after 2 pm. They should be dropped off again on the date of departure between 8 am and 10 am.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 4000.00 is payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages and lost keys and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded to your bank account. Please report any breakages to the housekeepers before you depart. If you find items broken on your 1st day of arrival, please report them to the housekeeper so that they can let the homeowner know.

House Rules –

Please take note that no extra guests will be allowed over and above the maximum occupancy of a house – any additional person will be asked to leave. The homeowners at the estate get fined if there are additional guests staying at the house. This will affect the refund of the breakage deposit. 
An R 800.00 charge will be levied for early check-in and late check-outs (2:30 pm – Latest).
No smoking.
No pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Swimming Pool –
The swimming pool at all the house’s has no safety features.
Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities are strictly at your own risk. Ponta Malongane Accommodation, Homeowner and the Estate or Agent booked at cannot be held responsible in the event of accidental injury and or death.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
*Service fees are non-refundable.
